“Learning art” is something, that as artists, we never stop doing. We get better and better, but never achieve perfection. I’ve learned to enjoy the journey. I’ll always have work i’m no longer happy with hot on my heels and before me, something intimidating that challenges my confidence.
The view is the same no matter where you are in your career. There will always be artists with far less skill than you achieving far greater fame. There will always be artists with far MORE skill slipping into obscurity or quietly, tirelessly honing their craft with no recognition.
Enjoy your journey and don’t tear yourself apart comparing yourself to other artists. Find inspiration in them and learn what you can from their successes and failures.
